Brian Rose is a New York City-based photographer known for his documentation of the city's cultural landscape and architecture. He moved to New York in 1977 to attend Cooper Union, where he studied under notable figures including Joel Meyerowitz and Larry Fink. His work often explores themes of time, space, and history through a meditative lens on urban transformation. One of his most critically acclaimed projects is 'Time and Space on the Lower East Side,' which documents the neighborhood's evolution from 1980 to 2010. Rose has also documented significant historical sites, including the Iron Curtain and the Berlin Wall.[1,2,3,4,5]
