Camille Renée Devid
author · photographer
Camille Renée Devid is a multidisciplinary lens-based artist born in Amsterdam and raised in Curaçao. Her practice explores identity, memory, ancestry, and human connection through photography, archival material, self-portraiture, poetry, and painting. Her work often treats the body as a living archive where personal and collective histories intersect. She explores themes of migration, love, and loss, using color and light to map invisible connections between generations. Devid graduated from Fotoacademie Amsterdam in 2013 and has participated in various international masterclasses and workshops, including with Antoine D’Agata at Rencontres d’Arles.[1,2]
