Carole Kismaric

Carole Kismaric (1942–2002) was an American author, photo editor, and curator. She is noted for her work in documentary photography and non-fiction literature, particularly focusing on human rights and historical subjects. Her notable works include 'Forced Out: The Agony of the Refugee in Our Time' (1989), which she developed, edited, and produced for Human Rights Watch and the J.M. Kaplan Fund.
