Charis Wilson (1914–2009) was an American writer, model, and photographer. She is most famously known as the muse and wife of photographer Edward Weston. Beginning in 1934, she posed for more than half of Weston's recorded nudes, becoming a central figure in his artistic output during their eleven-year relationship. A daughter of novelist Harry Leon Wilson, she was raised in the San Francisco literary community before moving to Carmel and later Santa Cruz.[1,2,3]
