Charles Vergeer

Dr. Charles Vergeer (born 1947) is a Dutch philosopher, classicist, philologist, and publicist. He received his doctorate with a thesis on Heraclitus and has published extensively on ancient philosophy and the origins of Christianity. In addition to his academic work as a lecturer in philosophy and ethics at Fontys Hogescholen in Eindhoven, he is a prolific author who writes about art history, theology, and literature. His works include biographies and analyses of Dutch cultural figures, such as Willem Witsen.[1,2]
