Cristina García Rodero is a prominent Spanish photographer known for her documentary work capturing the persistence of rural traditions and religious rites in Spain. She joined Magnum Photos in 2005 and became a full member in 2009. Her work often explores the intersection of traditional culture, religious devotion, and profane celebrations. In 2013, she was elected as a Full Academician for the Section of New Image Arts at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts of San Fernando.
