Daniel Koning is a Dutch documentary photographer and author. He began his career in journalism as a correspondent for the newspaper De Tijd in 1968 before working for De Volkskrant. Known for his extensive photojournalism, he was named photojournalist of the year in 1986 and won several awards in the Silver Camera competition in subsequent years. His work often focuses on social changes, cultural shifts, and daily life across various countries, including China, Indonesia, and the Netherlands. He has published numerous photography books documenting these themes.[1,2,3]
