Diane Keaton (née Hall) is an American actress, director, producer, and screenwriter who rose to prominence in the New Hollywood movement. Her career began on stage with a role in the musical 'Hair' (1968), followed by her screen debut in 1970. She gained significant acclaim for her roles in Francis Ford Coppola's 'The Godfather' trilogy and her frequent collaborations with Woody Allen, most notably in 'Annie Hall' (1977) for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress. Known for her distinct fashion sense and eccentric comedic style, Keaton has also worked as a filmmaker, directing several films including 'Heaven' (1987). Beyond acting, she is an accomplished photographer; her debut photo book, 'Reservations' (1980), captures hotel interiors across the United States.[1,2,3]
