Djan Seylan is a French photographer and collector. He has primarily focused his photographic work on Asia and Turkey, publishing notable works such as 'Asies' (1979), 'Ici, l’inconnu' (1999), and 'Estambul y vuelta' (2005). A dedicated collector of photographs and photo books, Seylan became fascinated in the 1970s by the aesthetic of vintage exotic postcards. He curated a significant collection of these items, which he later compiled into publications like 'Small Miracles'. His work is characterized by an interest in visual poetry, sensuality, and refinement.[1]
