Donovan Wylie is a Northern Irish photographer and filmmaker based in Belfast. His work is characterized by a conceptual and typological approach to the documentation of conflict, focusing on 'vision as power' within the architecture of contemporary conflict, such as prisons, army watchtowers, and listening stations. Wylie was a member of the Magnum Photos agency from 1998 to 2017 and has served as a Professor of Photography at Ulster University. His work is held in several major public collections, including the Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Yale University Art Gallery, and the Irish Museum of Modern Art.[1,2,3]
