Ed Wingen (died 2019) was a prominent Dutch art critic and writer. He served as the art editor for the newspaper De Telegraaf for forty years, where he became well-known for his regular columns on contemporary art. Beyond his journalistic work, Wingen authored numerous monographs and books on various artists, including Karel Appel and Freek van den Berg. His writing is noted for its deep engagement with the development of Dutch and international modern art from the mid-20th century onwards.[1,2,3,4]
