Eleonora Battiston

Eleonora Battiston is an Italian art critic, curator, and author specializing in Chinese contemporary art. Born in Bologna in 1978, she studied in Beijing at the Beijing Language and Culture University from 1998 to 2003 before earning a degree in History of Art of East Asia from Bologna University in 2002. She has curated numerous major international exhibitions, including the Nanjing Biennale and the Prague Biennale, and has authored numerous critical essays and books on emerging generations of contemporary artists.[1,2]
