Elizabeth Brayer

Elizabeth Bashore Brayer (1933–2017) was an American author and historian specializing in the history of Rochester, New York, and the life of industrialist George Eastman. She served as a historian at the George Eastman House, International Museum of Photography and Film, where she worked on the George Eastman Legacy and Landscape committees. She is best known for her definitive biography of George Eastman, 'George Eastman: A Biography,' which was first published in 1996 and subsequently nominated for a Pulitzer Prize. She graduated from Mount Holyoke College in 1954.[1,3,4,5,6,10,11,13,14]
