Eloi Gimeno (1982–2019) was a prominent Spanish photographer and graphic designer specializing in the creation of photobooks. He graduated in Graphic Design from Elisava School in 2006 before pursuing further studies at TaiK University of Art and Design in Helsinki and completing a Master's in Documentary Photography at Blank Paper School in Madrid. Gimeno became a key figure in contemporary Spanish photobook design, known for his aesthetic rigor and narrative sequencing. His debut work, 'Hellsinki' (2010), was highly acclaimed, winning two Laus awards and being recognized by Photo-eye as one of the best books of that year. Throughout his career, he collaborated with numerous artists on high-quality publications and served as a teacher in various photography schools across Spain.[1,2,3]
