Enzo Anselmo Ferrari (1898–1988) was a prominent Italian automotive engineer, racing driver, and entrepreneur. Born in Modena, Italy, he developed an early fascination with mechanical craftsmanship in his father's metalworking shop. He began his career as a racing driver for Alfa Romeo in 1920 before transitioning into the organizational aspects of Grand Prix racing. In 1929, he founded Scuderia Ferrari, a racing team that initially prepared Alfa Romeo cars but eventually became synonymous with his own brand. Under his leadership, Ferrari expanded from a racing stable into a world-renowned manufacturer of high-performance sports cars and luxury vehicles.
