Fina Gomez

photographer

Fina Gomez (born Josefina Gómez Revenga) was a Venezuelan photographer and patron of the arts. Born in Caracay, Venezuela, she spent significant time in New York before settling in Paris, where she established an atelier for her photography and became a major collector of contemporary ceramics. She founded the Fondation Fina Gomez in Geneva to support young artists and promote cultural exchange between Venezuela and France. Her photographic work often explored themes of nature and materials, as seen in her collaborations with poet Pierre Seghers.[1]
