Fina Torres (born Josefina Torres Benedetti) is a Venezuelan film director, screenwriter, and photographer. She gained international acclaim in 1985 after winning the la Caméra d'Or award at the Cannes Film Festival for her directorial debut, 'Oriana'. Before moving to Paris to study cinematography at IDHEC, she studied design, photography, and journalism in Venezuela. Her work often bridges visual storytelling across different mediums, including cinema and photography.[1,2]
