Hans Zoete

photographer

Hans Zoete (1948–2024) was a Dutch photographer and visual artist. He received his training as a visual artist at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Den Bosch before focusing on photography. Based primarily in Eindhoven, he became known for his work as a photography teacher at the Centrum voor de Kunsten (CKE) and for leading various photography clubs. His photographic career spanned from 1983 until 1995, during which time he produced a diverse body of work that often captured beauty in seemingly insignificant subjects. After retiring from active photography in 1995, he continued to contribute to the field through teaching and other artistic engagements.[1,3,4,5]
