Harold Strak is a Mozambican-born Dutch photographer and author based in Amsterdam. He is recognized for his artistic and scientific approach to photography, often focusing on themes of visibility, absence, and the relationship between past and present. Strak frequently collaborates with producer Willem van Zoetendaal on exhibition and book projects. He has published numerous photography books, including 'In Jehoshaphat's Valley' and 'Verdigris'.[1]
