Heinz Liesbrock is a German art historian, curator, and former museum director. He studied art history, American studies, and German literature in Bochum, Swansea, and Washington, D.C. From 1992 to 1999, he served as the head of the Westfälischer Kunstverein in Münster before becoming the director of the Josef Albers Museum Quadrat Bottrop from 2003 to 2022. His expertise lies primarily in American art and photography, and his work includes numerous publications and curatorial projects focusing on these fields.[1,2,3]
