Henze Boekhout

Henze Boekhout was a Dutch artist and photographer who lived and worked in Haarlem. A self-taught artist, Boekhout was recognized for his distinctive photography, particularly his captures of airplanes and passengers. His work has been exhibited globally and is held in numerous prestigious collections, including the Stedelijk Museum, Huis Marseille, the Fotomuseum Rotterdam, the Bibliothèque Nationale in Paris, the New York Public Library, and the Museum Ludwig in Cologne. From 2002, he served as a lecturer at the Utrecht School of Arts (HKU). He was known for elevating photography to an art form and died in November 2024.[1,2,3]
