H.M. Stegeman
photographer
H.M. Stegeman was a Dutch photographer active in the mid-20th century, particularly in the Enschede area. He is credited with providing photography for various publications documenting the industrial development and history of the Twente region. His work is specifically noted for its role in the visual documentation of the Gebroeders van Heek textile empire. While less widely known than some of his contemporaries in landscape photography, his work remains a significant part of the regional archival record of industrial photography in the Netherlands.[1,2]
