Huang Chien-hung

Huang Chien-hung is a Taiwanese university professor, curator, and poet. He graduated from Tunghai University in Taiwan with a degree in chemistry before moving to Paris, where he earned a PhD in Aesthetics from the Sorbonne University (Paris VIII) under the supervision of Jacques Homsey. Since 2005, he has held various academic positions at universities including Shih Hsin University and National Kaohsiung Normal University. He currently serves as a professor and director at the Graduate Institute of Trans-disciplinary Arts at the National Taipei University of the Arts (NTUA) and is also the director of the Kuandu Museum of Fine Arts. His research interests include image studies, aesthetic theory, contemporary art trends, philosophy, and curatorial studies. He has translated works by philosophers such as Gilles Deleuze and Jean Baudrillard and has curated numerous exhibitions focusing on film, performance art, and trans-disciplinary media.[1,2]
