b. 1926, York, England[1] active 1957–present

Jacob Mandeville was a talented photographer and an individual described as 'bizarre' for his tendency to mix science, religious belief, and moral convictions. He began keeping journals in 1957, which contain hand-written notes and comments alongside beautiful and bizarre black and white plates. His work is characterized by a blurring of the boundaries between fiction and reality.[1]
