Jan Kempenaers

Jan Kempenaers is a Belgian photographer born in 1968. He studied art film and photography at the Royal Academy of Fine Arts in Ghent from 1986 to 1991, followed by visual arts at the Jan Van Eyck Academy in Maastricht. Based in Antwerp, he has been photographing architecture, landscapes, and monuments since the early 1990s. His work is frequently published by Roma Publications in Amsterdam and exhibited internationally across Europe, Asia, and the Americas. His photographic practice often explores the intersection of visual language and physical space.[1]
