Jean Nohain

Jean Nohain (born Jean-Marie Pierre Étienne Legrand) was a French writer, poet, and radio personality. He is well known for his work in children's literature and his contributions to the early days of French television and radio. He wrote several books, including 'Le Bal des pompiers', and provided the preface for Robert Doisneau's 'Gosses de Paris'. His career was marked by a transition from journalism and military service during WWII to becoming a prominent figure in children's entertainment.[1,2]
