Jean Sagne

Jean Sagne is a French historian specializing in contemporary history, particularly the history of France and the Languedoc-Roussillon region. He is recognized as an expert in the history of photography, having published numerous works on photographers such as Delacroix, Toulouse-Lautrec, and Cecil Beaton. Since 1998, he has served as a professor emeritus at the University of Perpignan Via Domitia. Sagne has authored or directed approximately forty works and over 130 articles, often focusing on art history and regional studies.[1]
