John Lahr

John Henry Lahr is an American theater critic, writer, and biographer. He served as a staff writer and the senior drama critic at The New Yorker from 1992 to 2013. Lahr has authored more than twenty books related to theater and popular culture, including biographies of Tennessee Williams and Bert Lahr. His work is noted for its insightful analysis of theatrical figures and his ability to capture the complexities of American cultural life.
