John T. Hill is an American artist, photographer, graphic designer, and author. He co-founded Yale University's Department of Photography in the 1960s and served as its first director of Graduate Studies. For nineteen years, he was the executor of the Walker Evans estate, producing numerous books and exhibitions on the iconic artist. His career has been defined by his work in design and photography, including teaching both disciplines at the Yale University School of Art for over twenty years.
