Jonathan Turner

Jonathan Turner is an Australian-born curator and journalist based in Rome, Sydney, and Amsterdam. He has organized over 100 solo and group exhibitions globally for a wide range of international artists and designers. His work includes curating major events such as 'L'Ottobre degli Olandesi' (1994), which featured 12 Dutch artists in Rome, and the Pierre et Gilles retrospective. Turner has held various organizational positions with the Biennale of Art in Venice and served as an advisor to Manifesta. He is also a prolific writer, having contributed to numerous art publications including ARTnews, HG, Elle Decor, and several Italian and Australian magazines since the 1980s.[1]
