Juergen Teller is a prominent German fine-art and fashion photographer known for his unique aesthetic that blends commercial work with personal projects. Born in Erlangen in 1964, he moved to London in 1986 to pursue his career after studying at the Bayerische Staatslehranstalt für Photographie in Munich. His style is characterized by a 'humanizing' and 'amateur' aesthetic, often featuring raw emotion, grit, and imperfection. He has collaborated with major fashion houses including Marc Jacobs, Céline, Yves Saint Laurent, and Louis Vuitton, while also photographing high-profile celebrities such as Björk, Kanye West, and Kate Moss. Teller is recognized for blurring the boundaries between his commissioned photography and personal life, often featuring himself and family members in his work.[1,2,3]
