Julian Germain

Julian Germain is a British photographer and author who focuses on social history and the documentation of marginalized communities. Since 1995, he has collaborated with Brazilian artists Patricia Azevedo and Murilo Godoy on several projects, most notably 'No Olho da Rua' and 'No Mundo Maravilhoso do Futebol'. His work often involves immersive photography, painting, and writing workshops conducted with local residents, including children in favelas, to create a collective visual and narrative history. He studied at Trent Polytechnic in Nottingham and the Royal College of Art in London.[1,2,3]
