Julio Cortázar

Julio Cortázar (1914–1984) was an Argentine and naturalized French novelist, short story writer, poet, essayist, and translator. A key figure of the 'Latin American Boom', he is renowned for his experimental narrative techniques and contributions to contemporary literature. He lived in Paris for much of his life and held dual citizenship in Argentina and France.
