Jurriaan Willem Schrofer (1926–1990) was a Dutch sculptor, graphic designer, type designer, and educator. He is widely recognized as a pioneering figure in European graphic design, particularly active during the 1950s through the 1970s. Schrofer was known for his experimental approach to typography and his leadership in the field. He was a significant influence on the development of photo books and worked as an art director and lecturer. His work often combined a critical, intellectual perspective with sophisticated aesthetic execution, leaving a lasting impact on the history of Dutch and international graphic design.[1,2,3]
