photographer

Kanno Panda (born Jun Kanno) is a Japanese photographer based in Fukushima. After studying film production at New York University's School of Professional Studies starting in 1998, he returned to Japan in 2002 and began focusing on portraiture and landscape photography. He gained recognition for his work documenting the environment and nature of Fukushima following the 2011 disaster. His artistic practice often explores themes of human-animal relationships and the perception of time and space in post-disaster landscapes.
