Karin Apollonia Müller

Karin Apollonia Müller (born 1963, Heidelberg, Germany) is a contemporary German photographer and visual artist. Her work explores themes of landscape, architecture, and the interaction between humans and the environment. She has lived in California, USA, and Europe, and her photographs are included in the permanent collections of the Museum of Modern Art (MoMA) in New York, the International Fashion Museum (IFA) in Germany, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. She has received numerous international awards and commissions, including from the Lannan Foundation and the J. Paul Getty Foundation. Her photographic projects often investigate the aesthetics of the 'New Landscape' and the tension within modern urban spaces.[1,2]
