Keisuke Nagoshi is a Japanese photographer born in Nara Prefecture in 1977. He graduated from the Osaka University of Arts in 2000, specializing in Environmental Planning. At age 19, he moved to the United States alone and began his photographic practice while living with squatters. His work often explores cultural identities and social environments across Asia and the West. He released his first photo book, 'EXCUSE ME', in 2006. Nagoshi is known for capturing emotive portraits of diverse communities, including Chicano culture in the United States and various subjects in India and Japan. In 2017, he received the Society of Photography Award for his work 'Familia Homi Danchi'.[1,2]
