Klaus Ottmann

Klaus Ottmann is a German-born independent curator, writer, translator, and philosopher based in New York City. He has served as the Chief Curator Emeritus of The Phillips Collection in Washington, D.C., where he initiated several significant installations, including the Wolfgang Laib Wax Room. Ottmann is also the publisher and editor of Spring Publications, a small press focusing on Jungian psychology, mythology, and artist writings. His work spans art criticism, translation (notably for Yves Klein), and curatorial practice, with a focus on the intersection of philosophy, religion, and visual arts.[2]
