Laure Albin-Guillot (born Laure Meifredy) was a prominent French photographer active during the interwar period. Known for her versatility, she worked across various genres including portraiture, fashion photography, advertising, and still life. She received significant recognition early in her career, winning a gold medal at the Revue française de photographie competition in 1922. In addition to her artistic work, she held influential positions within French cultural institutions, notably serving as the head of the photography service for the Beaux-Arts from 1932 onwards, where she was responsible for the conservation of photographic archives and the dissemination of reproductions.[1,2,3,4,5]
