Manuel Gasser

Manuel Gasser (1909–1979) was a Swiss writer, journalist, and publisher. He began his career as a feuilleton editor in the early 1930s, notably co-founding 'Weltwoche' in 1933. He served as a foreign correspondent from 1946 to 1951 before becoming the editor of the monthly magazine 'Du' in 1958, where he succeeded Arnold Kübler. Gasser was known for his literary contributions and his work documenting Swiss photography history. His writings often explored cultural themes, including self-portraits and culinary traditions.[1,2,3]
