Marcelle Routier (1915–2001) was a versatile French writer, journalist, and artist. She is well-known for her literary contributions to the documentation of Parisian life, particularly in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés neighborhood. Her work often captures the atmosphere of post-war France through interviews and narratives. In addition to being an author, she was also recognized as a painter, sculptor, and illustrator. She collaborated on several publications documenting French culture and society during the mid-20th century.[1,2]
