Marie-José Jongerius

Marie-José Jongerius is a Dutch photographer and researcher born in 1970. She studied at the Instituto Superiore della Fotografia in Rome and the Royal Academy of Visual Arts (KABK) in The Hague. Her work explores the dialogue between factual reality and fiction, often focusing on urban and natural landscapes, borders, and boundaries. She has published several books including 'Sweetwater', 'Lunar Landscapes', and 'Los Angeles Palms'.[1,2,4]
