Maurits Giesen is a Dutch photographer who often works as part of the photography duo GiesenLeenders with Ilse Leenders. He studied photography at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague (KABK), where he met his long-time collaborator in 2001. His work spans various genres, including architecture, portraiture, and conceptual photography. He is based in The Hague and has been active in the Dutch art scene since the early 2000s.[1,2]
