Max Koot

Max Koot (1917–1991) was a Dutch photographer based in The Hague. He gained significant recognition after World War II as the official photographer of the Dutch Royal House, capturing formal portraits and intimate family scenes of royalty, including Princess Beatrix and Prince Claus. Beyond his royal commissions, Koot was known for his elegant and formal portrait style, photographing many prominent Dutch figures. He also produced reportages on weddings, corporate photography, fashion photos, and worked with the Haagse Comedie theater group. His studio in The Hague continued to operate after his death.[1,2]
