Michket Krifa is a French-Tunisian writer, art critic, and independent visual arts curator specializing in photography from Africa and the Middle East. Based in Paris, she has curated numerous thematic exhibitions and publications covering regions such as Iran, Tunisia, Algeria, and Palestine. She served as an artistic director for Bamako Photography (Les Rencontres de Bamako) from 2009 to 2014. Krifa is recognized for her work on women's issues in photography and has authored several books and articles, including 'Arab Photography Now'. Her curatorial practice focuses on revealing the visual dynamics and complexities of Arab and African photographic practices.[1,2,3,4]
