Olivia Heussler is a Swiss photographer and artist born in Zurich in 1957. She is known for her documentary work on political, social, and cultural movements. Her career includes significant documentation of the youth unrest in Zurich during the 1980s, as well as international projects covering the Nicaraguan Revolution (1984-2007) and various liberation movements. She studied at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Zurich and has worked as a freelance photojournalist since 1983. Her work is characterized by its focus on historical events and social change, often published in international book formats.[1,2]
