Óscar Monzón

Óscar Monzón is a Spanish photographer and multimedia artist born in Málaga in 1981. He moved to Madrid, where he has lived and worked since studying photography at the Artediez School between 1999 and 2001. A founding member of the BlankPaper collective (active 2003–2017), Monzón's work spans photography, video, and sound art. His practice often explores social commentary, urban rhythms, and human behavior. He is known for large-scale projects that examine the relationship between individuals and their environments, such as his study of drivers in Madrid which resulted in the award-winning photobook 'Karma'.[1,2,3]
