Patricia Hampl

Patricia Hampl is an American memoirist, writer, lecturer, and educator. She is a Regents Professor and McKnight Distinguished Professor at the University of Minnesota, where she teaches in the MFA program. Her work often explores themes of family, Czech heritage, spirituality, and the wonder of the ordinary through detailed prose.[1]
