Peter Dicampos
photographer
Peter Dicampos (also known as Peter van der Velden) was a Dutch photographer known for his erotic and libertarian work. He began his photographic career in 1967, gaining notoriety for capturing the 'hippie' and 'flower power' scenes in Amsterdam during the 1960s. His work often featured female amateur models and happenings in the city, contributing to its image as a sanctuary of liberal expression. In March 1967, he took a notable photograph of the nude Phil Bloom posing for the Lieverdje on the Spui. He published his work in various outlets, including the provoblad Gadalf. His book 'From Holland with Love' serves as an overview of his photographic output.[1]
