Peter Lindbergh
photographer
Peter Lindbergh (born Peter Brodbeck) was a German fashion photographer and film director who became one of the most influential figures in contemporary fashion photography. Born in Leszno, Poland, he spent his childhood in Duisburg before studying at the Berlin Academy of Fine Arts. He is renowned for his cinematic, black-and-white imagery that helped define the 'supermodel' era of the 1990s. His work often focused on raw, natural beauty and intimate portraits of high-fashion icons like Naomi Campbell and Linda Evangelista. Lindbergh lived in Paris for much of his career, where he worked extensively with major fashion houses and designers.[1,2,3,4,5]
